Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Fair understanding of RDS engine and its features.
Fair understanding of PostgreSQL/Aurora Database engine and its features.
Prior experience on RDS Migration.
Installing the SCT tool and generating the required reports for analysis
Working with the SCT tool to migrate the schemas to Aurora.
Manually migrate the schemas which are not supported by the SCT tool.
Experience in configuring the AWS DMS tool to migrate the data between databases.
Working with the application team to rewrite the Stored Procedures
Working with AWS RDS Service.
Setting up monitoring of the RDS database using CloudWatch.
Experience in configuring backup of the RDS database
