Job Description
Positions in this series perform work of a routine, repetitious nature following established practices and procedures. Positions perform other related duties as required.
Examples of Duties:
- Operates office equipment such as paper shredders and photocopiers; cleans and performs routine maintenance. Collates and staples pages.
2. Sorts materials. Makes deliveries and runs errands.
3. Packs, unpacks and shelves materials and equipment. Wraps and packages materials. Moves objects.
4. Answers questions from the public and gives directions.
5. Completes and maintains necessary forms and logs.
6. Works independently or as a member of a crew performing tasks such as mowing, cutting and removing weeds, moving heavy furniture, construction materials, and equipment.
7. Spots and directs traffic at road repair or refuse disposal sites.
8. Cleans construction shop and work areas.
9. Cleans restrooms and shelters.
10. Patrols parking lots, checking for hazardous conditions and regulates parking.
11. Collects and disposes of garbage and litter. Cleans drains, sewers, and restrooms, swimming areas, picnic grounds camping areas.
12. Uses a variety of hand tools and equipment
