Location : Phoenix, AZ

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Snowflake Engineer to join our dynamic data engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing data solutions using Snowflake, ensuring that data pipelines are efficient, scalable, and high performing. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices in data warehousing, business intelligence, and analytics solutions.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Design, develop, and maintain Snowflake-based data warehouses.
- Build and optimize ETL pipelines for data migration and transformation using Snowflake tools and integrations.
- Implement query optimization and performance tuning techniques in Snowflake.
- Integrate Snowflake with various data sources such as AWS S3, GCP, Azure, and third-party APIs.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction and reporting.
- Ensure data security and compliance with governance policies in Snowflake.
- Develop automation for data ingestion and pipeline monitoring using Python or similar technologies.
- Work with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
- Create and maintain logical and physical data models in Snowflake.
- Leverage cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) to optimize Snowflake performance and cost.
- Collaborate with BI teams to integrate Snowflake with reporting tools like Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
- Advocate and implement Snowflake best practices for architecture, storage, and usage.
Preferred Skills:
- SnowPro Certification is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of cloud ecosystems and big data frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with tools like dbt, Talend, Alteryx, or Informatica.
