Job Description
Role: Mainframe Administrator zOS
Location: Columbus, OH (HYBRID - Only 2-3 days onsite in a week)
Duration: FTE (Full Time)
Salary Range: $75000-120000/yearly + Benefits + Performance Bonus + Relocation Assistance (Open for Negotiations)
Technical/Functional Skills -MUST HAVE SKILLS
Mainframe Administration, MIPS, LPAR, DB2, Service Now, ACF2, MQ
Roles & Responsibilities
- Deep knowledge z/OS (200+ ISV products) and Storage
- Deep Knowledge in mainframe Network
- Knowledge in mainframe ACF2 and MQ
- Knowledge and experience in support for a complex Mainframe Environment
- Knowledge and experience in support for Mainframe migrations and LPAR/MIPS management
- Knowledge of mainframe relationships with DB2
- Experience in Mainframe backup to and restore from tape
- Knowledge and Experience in Mainframe datacenter migration and design
- Experience in Install, configure and supporting Mainframe LPARS and MIPS
- Experience configuring and supporting mainframe restores
- Experience in DC migration & troubleshooting
- Strong understanding and working knowledge of network, DHCP, DNS, load balancing & IIS
- Experience in Capacity and performance management
- Experience with Remote Administration of MIPS/LPARS
- Work with vendor partners to manage the agreed upon SLA's
- Works with the vendor partners to improve the reporting and operations policies and procedures
