Job Overview
- Highly experienced Team Lead Data Science Strategist with a strong background in Python and SQL Natural Language Processing NLP experience is a plus This role combines technical leadership strategic thinking and hands on expertise to drive innovative data science solutions The successful candidate will lead a team of data scientists engage with stakeholders at all levels and design strategies to leverage data insights for business growth
Key Qualifications
Experience
- 12 years of experience in data science machine learning and AI with at least 3 years in a leadership or team lead role
- Experience in designing and deploying NLP solutions in real-world applications is a plus
- Deep hands-on experience with Python SQL and libraries frameworks related to data science e.g. pandas NumPy scikit learn TensorFlow PyTorch
Technical Expertise
- Expert level proficiency in Python for data analysis machine learning
- Strong SQL skills for data extraction transformation and processing from large databases
- Familiarity with cloud platforms AWS GCP or Azure and experience deploying models in production environments
- Experience with MLOps and version control tools Git Docker etc. is a plus
- Leadership Communication
- Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to mentor and guide teams
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical topics to both technical and nontechnical audiences
- Demonstrated experience in collaborating with cross functional teams and managing stakeholder expectations
- Project Management
- Experience in managing and delivering multiple data science projects simultaneously
- Ability to set priorities manage resources and deliver results under tight deadlines
- Preferred Skills
- Degree in Data Science Computer Science Statistics Mathematics or a related field
- Familiarity with big data tools Spark Hadoop and distributed computing
- Knowledge of visualization tools like Tableau Power BI or matplotlib for reporting insights
