Role: .Net Application Support Engineer
Location: Mississauga, Ontario (Onsite)
Mandatory Skills: .NET Core WebAPI (Using MVC Core), .NET Microservices, Angular, AWS EKS, MS SQL Server

We are seeking a technical Application Support Engineer to provide backfill support for our Participation Residuals PR systems while supporting ongoing project initiatives. This individual will maintain and enhance existing applications troubleshoot production issues support deployments and work closely with development infrastructure and business teams to ensure system stability throughout project delivery.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide daytoday application support for PR systems and related services
- Troubleshoot analyze and resolve application issues
- Develop and maintain NET web applications and APIs
- Support application deployments across Kubernetes environments using CICD pipelines
- Containerize and deploy applications using Docker in Windows and Linux environments
- Work with relational databases to optimize and maintain data models queries and stored procedures for enterprise scale applications
- Collaborate with infrastructure DevOps and cloud teams to ensure reliable application performance
- Participate in code reviews testing and release activities
- Support project teams with technical analysis implementation and production readiness activities
- Document technical solutions deployment procedures and support processes
QUALIFICATIONS Required:
- 5+ years of experience developing and supporting enterprise applications.
- Strong experience with
- NET Framework
- NET Core NET 6
- ASPNET Web Applications
- REST APIs
- Handson experience deploying applications to Kubernetes environments
- Handson experience working with relational databases eg SQL Server PostgreSQL or Oracle including query optimization schema design and performance tuning
- Experience building and managing Docker containers
- Knowledge of Kubernetes deployments across Windows and Linux nodes
- Experience with Gitbased source control and CICD pipelines
- Exposure to AWS cloud services and modern cloud deployment practices
- Strong troubleshooting and problemsolving skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative project environment
Preferred
- Experience supporting financial or enterprise backoffice applications
- Familiarity with media entertainment participation or residuals systems
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Understanding of secure application development and deployment practices
