AWS Cloud Engineer
Location: 3 days/week onsite in Lake Mary, FL 32746
Hire Type: Right-to-Hire (RTH), 6 Months (Full Time)
Interview Process: Video interview via Microsoft Teams

Responsibilities:
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work or military experience required.
4+ years of Cloud Engineering, Development, and Support experience.
4+ years of experience as an AWS Cloud Engineer, along with an AWS Certification.
Experience with AWS Architecture and DevOps.
Proficiency in Terraform.
Thorough understanding of Hybrid Cloud Computing, including virtualization technologies, Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), Software as a Service (SaaS), cloud delivery models, and the current competitive landscape.
Extensive experience with automation and configuration management using Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
Strong experience with the Linux operating system.
Strong background in cloud operations, instrumentation, and monitoring of distributed architectures using Splunk or similar tools.
Deep technical experience in one or more of the following areas: software design or development, application design, systems operations/management, database architecture, virtualization, IP networking, storage, and IT security.
Strong knowledge of Web Services, API Gateways, and application integration design and development.
Working knowledge of Agile development, Scrum, and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).
Demonstrated ability to create Infrastructure Architecture Design Documents.
Must be detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated, and driven.
Ability to create system and process flow diagrams, data flow diagrams, sequence diagrams, UML diagrams, and document inter- and intra-system dependencies across functional domains.
Knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies, with the ability to apply them to architectural solutions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
