Project Overview
We are seeking experienced Business Analyst / Business Systems Analyst professionals to support enterprise business, financial, and operational systems. This role serves as a key liaison between business stakeholders, operations teams, and centralized IT organizations to analyze, enhance, and optimize enterprise systems and processes.

The BA/BSA role combines traditional business analysis, systems analysis, and Agile delivery responsibilities, including support for Product Owner functions where required. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, enterprise systems experience, and the ability to drive change across complex, cross‑functional environments.

Key Responsibilities Business & Systems Analysis
  • Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business, functional, and non-functional requirements
  • Create Business Requirements Specifications (BRS) and support Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) development
  • Facilitate stakeholder workshops, interviews, and requirements-gathering sessions
  • Analyze current-state processes and design future-state workflows and process maps
  • Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and redundancies; propose and implement process improvements
  • Translate business needs into system requirements and solution designs
  • Perform cost-benefit and ROI analyses to support system and process decisions
Agile Delivery & Product Ownership
  • Work within Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery environments
  • Support and, when required, perform Product Owner responsibilities
  • Define features, write and refine user stories, and manage product backlogs
  • Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, reviews, and retrospectives
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure delivery of business value
System Maintenance & Enhancements
  • Support enterprise application configuration, modification, and enhancements
  • Review, test, and implement vendor-delivered system upgrades and releases
  • Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT), test scripts, and test execution
  • Ensure system integrations function as designed across connected applications
  • Troubleshoot post-implementation issues and support ongoing system stability
Reporting & Data Analysis
  • Extract, analyze, and interpret data from enterprise systems
  • Create and maintain queries, datasets, and reports
  • Support dashboards and analytics solutions, including operational and management reporting
  • Provide guidance and training to users on reporting tools and data usage
Leadership & Collaboration
  • Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders and project teams
  • Coordinate and support cross-functional and interdepartmental initiatives
  • Collaborate with vendors and consultants; review deliverables and monitor quality
  • Develop user documentation, training materials, and system guides
  • Mentor junior analysts and contribute to team knowledge sharing

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, MIS, Economics, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst and/or Systems Analyst
  • Minimum 2 years of experience configuring, enhancing, or supporting enterprise applications
  • Proven experience working directly with business stakeholders and IT teams
  • Strong documentation, communication, and facilitation skills

Master’s degree in a related field may substitute for two (2) years of experience.

Preferred / Desired Qualifications
  • Experience supporting large, complex enterprise or SaaS implementations
  • Experience with financial, HR, or operational enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, HRIS)
  • Experience supporting large transformation or modernization initiatives
  • Experience in Agile environments, including Product Owner support
  • Knowledge of budgeting, procurement, HR, and financial business processes
  • Experience with business process improvement and change management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with reporting tools, SQL, or data analysis platforms
  • IIBA certification or equivalent (preferred)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work across organizational levels
