Cloud Architect Key Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable secure and highly available cloud solutions aligned with business and technology objectives
Define and maintain cloud architecture standards best practices governance and security controls
Lead cloud transformation application modernization and migration initiatives from onpremises environments to cloud platforms
Architect and deploy solutions on cloud platforms such as AWS Azure and Google Cloud Platform GCP
Design cloudnative applications leveraging microservices containers Kubernetes and serverless technologies
Collaborate with business stakeholders application teams infrastructure teams and security teams to define cloud strategies and roadmaps
Develop Infrastructure as Code IaC solutions using tools such as Terraform CloudFormation ARM Templates or Ansible
Ensure cloud environments meet security compliance risk and regulatory requirements
Design and implement disaster recovery backup business continuity and highavailability solutions
Establish cloud monitoring logging observability and performance management frameworks
Optimize cloud environments for performance scalability reliability and cost efficiency
Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and recommend innovative solutions to drive business value
Provide technical leadership architecture reviews and mentoring to development and engineering teams
Support CICD implementation and DevOps practices to improve deployment efficiency and automation
Conduct architecture assessments and create architecture documentation diagrams and technical specifications
Work closely with vendors and cloud providers to resolve technical challenges and implement best practices
Required Skills
Strong experience with AWS Azure or GCP
Expertise in cloud networking security identity and access management IAM and data protection
Experience with Terraform CloudFormation Kubernetes Docker Jenkins Git and CICD pipelines
Strong knowledge of microservices API architectures and distributed systems
Experience with cloud monitoring and observability tools
Understanding of enterprise architecture governance and compliance frameworks
Excellent stakeholder management communication and problemsolving skills
