Data Architect AWS Azure or Google Cloud Platform GCP

Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline
15-18 years overall experience
12-15 years of applicable engineering experience

Conceptual Logical Physical data models
Batch streaming pipelines ELTETL
IAM encryption data privacy rolebased access control RBAC
Data governance and compliance principles
Scalable highly available faulttolerant systems

Familiarity with data warehousing concepts star schemas dimensional modeling
OLTP vs OLAP

Translating business requirements into data architecture designs
Design and maintain end to end cloud data architectures supporting analytical and operational use cases
Define data storage ingestion processing and consumption patterns across cloud platforms
Create architecture blueprints reference architectures and solution roadmaps
Develop and govern enterprise data models to ensure consistency and reusability
Design mechanisms for integrating data across multiple internal and external sources
Ensure data architectures support both current and future scalability needs

Provide architectural guidance during solution design development and production rollout
Review and approve architecture decisions and technical designs.
