Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and analytics platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with modern data engineering tools, cloud-based data warehouses, and emerging technologies such as Vector Databases and Large Language Models (LLMs). This role plays a critical part in enabling data-driven decision-making and advanced analytics initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and optimize end-to-end data pipelines (ETL/ELT) for large-scale data processing.
  • Build and maintain data models and transformations using Python and Snowflake.
  • Implement scalable solutions for Big Data Analytics, ensuring data quality, reliability, and performance.
  • Work with structured and unstructured data, including integration with Vector Databases for AI/ML use cases.
  • Support and enable analytics, reporting, and downstream consumption by data scientists and business teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Ensure best practices around data governance, security, and performance tuning.
  • Stay current with evolving data engineering and AI technologies, including LLMs.

Primary / Required Skills
  • Strong programming experience in Python
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake (data warehousing, performance optimization)
  • Solid expertise in ETL / ELT frameworks and data pipeline development
  • Experience working with Big Data technologies and analytics platforms
  • Practical exposure to Vector Databases
  • Understanding or experience integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) into data workflows

Desired / Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Experience with Graph Databases
  • Knowledge of RDF (Resource Description Framework)
  • Familiarity with Snowflake Cortex and AI/ML capabilities within Snowflake

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or related roles
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
