Job Description
Role: Data Governance Quality Analyst
Experience: 10-14 Years
Location: Toronto, ON (onsite)

Technical Skills Primary
High proficient with SQL data modelling reference data and data quality
Must have experience in developing Power BI reports
Must have experience in Azure ADF
Insurance Domain Knowledge
Participate in Data Governance working group sessions to create Data Governance Policies
Perform end to end data lineage assessment and documentation for selected CDEs
Work with Engineers Date Steward and data owners in creating metadata lineage data quality rules and guidelines
Document controls point data enhancement processes and transformation logic identified during stakeholder interviews
Perform end to end data lineage assessment and documentation for selected CDEs
Gather requirements by working with business users on Business Glossary Data Dictionary Reference data and policy management
Link data lineage to data quality and business glossary work within overall data governance program
Implement Data governance using MS Excel and Azure Purview or related data governance tool
Analyze data lineage processes to identify vulnerable data points control gaps data quality issues and overall lack of data governance
Strong troubleshooting experience reporting data issues and identifying root cause
Highlight Data Quality issues and areas of system and control
Review incoming data streams for missing data corrupt data and tablesfields
