Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, deploy, orchestrate, monitor, and optimize Machine Learning and Generative AI solutions.
- Build customer-facing Gen AI applications using LLMs, prompt engineering, classifiers, knowledge bases, RAG solutions, and LLM-as-a-Judge approaches.
- Develop and productionize end-to-end ML/AI pipelines.
- Take ML models from prototype through production using Python and Azure ML, including containerization where needed.
- Own data preparation, data pipelines, application design, testing, and deployment of ML and Gen AI applications.
- Apply feature engineering and statistical techniques to improve model performance.
- Optimize code, troubleshoot issues, and support system integration.
- Work with existing codebases and improve them while also developing new solutions from scratch.
- Apply appropriate guardrails and consider privacy and cybersecurity requirements for customer-facing Gen AI applications.
- Collaborate closely with data scientists, data engineers, product partners, and other team members.
- Accelerate delivery of scalable, production-ready AI solutions for the Service Recovery Modernization initiative.
- Support ML/AI solutions for Contact Centers and Digital Customer Experience with a focus on quality, innovation, scalability, and measurable business impact.
- 5–7 years of Data Science / Machine Learning experience.
- Master's or PhD degree with 5+ years of experience in a quantitative discipline such as Data Science, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or Statistics.
- Proficient in Python, including production-grade coding, modularization, testing, and performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing Generative AI applications.
- Experience with LLMs, Agentic AI, prompt engineering, RAG solutions, classifiers, knowledge bases, and LLM-as-a-Judge approaches.
- Hands-on experience building and productionizing ML/AI pipelines, including model deployment, orchestration, monitoring, and optimization.
- Strong knowledge of statistical and machine learning techniques.
- Practical experience designing, building, and deploying machine learning models.
- Strong problem-solving, logical analysis, debugging, and code optimization skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
- Experience with Azure ML and Databricks.
- Proficiency in SQL and working with data.
- Experience with ML lifecycle tools such as MLflow, CI/CD, and model monitoring.
- Experience taking ML models from prototype to production using Python and Azure ML.
- Experience with containerization and production-grade AI application deployment.
- Experience building customer-facing Gen AI applications with awareness of guardrails, privacy, and cybersecurity concerns.
- Experience with Agentic AI and LLM-based applications.
- Airline industry domain knowledge.
- Experience working in a consulting environment.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics.
- Experience working with existing enterprise codebases and developing new applications from scratch.
