Role type: Full time
Location: Salt Lake City (Onsite) Description Strong written and verbal communication skills
Understanding of transit organization and systems (preferred)
Designing performance standards, setting baseline measurements, implementing standards, and performing root-cause analysis.
Current methodologies for collecting, transforming, analyzing, and interpreting data to actionable insight. (R, Python, SPSS, SAS, Minitab, etc.)
Database and data warehouse design, data cleansing concepts (ETL), user acceptance testing, and data definition/data manipulation languages.
Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
Demonstrates an understanding of business priorities ABILITY Lead, manage and support effective change management
Exhibit behavioral styles that convey confidence and command respect from others; makes a good first impression and represents UTA in alignment with our values
Manage time effectively and prioritize work and conduct activities in an organized manner
Execute strategy effectively across the business while maximizing customer satisfaction
Negotiate and resolve complex and sensitive project and team issues with diplomacy and persuasiveness.
Present technical information to a non-technical audience
Apply technical analysis and tools to complex business problems and identify solutions to improve the operational performance.
Think strategically about transportation issues and creatively in research and statistical methods.
