We are looking for a positive and collaborative Senior Guidewire Developer. As part of our Software Engineering Group, you will be working with globally distributed teams, including business representatives, business analysts, architects, and engineers to plan, design, develop, test, and implement solutions.

This position reports to the AVP - Software Engineering.
What you'll do:
- Review software requirements efficiently
- Build architectural diagrams/design documents

- Design screens, business rules, and workflow changes
- Write programs, configure/package/deploy software
- Establish and follow coding standards
- Debug and unit test the code
- Perform peer code reviews
- Mentor junior resources
What you'll bring:
- Degree in Engineering or Computer Science
- 5+ years proven experience in Guidewire Application Development Integrating Guidewire PC/BC/CC/CM systems with downstream systems
- Expertise in GOSU Language, configuration and coding using Guidewire tools and accelerators, Guidewire Batch, and Guidewire predefined plugins
- Read code in other languages and reverse engineer products
- Agile software development, including the use of Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence, etc.
- Domain knowledge on Property & Casualty Insurance
Other assets and nice to have:
- Guidewire certifications
- Core Java and Spring Boot
- REST APIs, web services, and messaging
- Database systems such as Oracle and Mongo
