Title: Identity Governance Lead Duration:  Location: 2490 Virtual Way
Vancouver, BC V5M 0A6       Purpose:  
  • Identity Governance Lead to join our team focused on Workforce Identity Governance and Access within the Business Technology Division.
  • In this role they will be responsible for defining the product vision, gathering and prioritizing product requirements in collaboration with the Workforce Identity Governance Program driving Identity & Access (IAM) maturity forward and ensuring product goals are met.
  • The contractor will play a crucial part in aligning product strategies with company objectives. As the Identity Governance Lead, they will work collaboratively with various stakeholders and a cross-functional teams leading the selection and implementation of an Identity & Access Governance platform while driving the delivery of new features, enhancements, and integrations.
  QUALIFICATIONS:   The successful Candidate should demonstrate the following qualifications and experience (the “Qualifications”): • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a product owner or similar role within a technology-focused organization. • Minimum 3 years of experience in IAM, IGA, and/or PAM and understanding of industry standards (e.g. NIST 800-63, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ZeroTrust). • Deep understanding of IAM/RBAC technologies, cloud-based systems, and cybersecurity principles. In particular principles of least privilege and zero standing privilege, building role-based access control matrices, and policy-based access control. • Past success in shaping highly scalable software products with an eye on ease-of-use. • Proven experience with managing Identity and Access Technologies, including but not limited to technologies such as SailPoint, Saviynt, ForgeRock, Okta, CyberArk. • Prior experience working in Agile environments, with proficiency in managing product backlogs and planning sprints. • Prior experience with AuthN/AuthZ: basic web authentication, SAML, OAuth/OpenID, MFA, Role Based access control (RBAC), FIDO2, Policy Based Access Control (PBAC). • Company has an existing (at time of submission) and ongoing contract with Candidate.     PREFERRED SKILLS • Public Sector experience is an asset. • Familiarity with the latest trends and innovations in the Identity and Access Management space. • Past success in deploying and managing identity lifecycle and governance solutions (e.g. SailPoint, Saviynt, Okta, ForgeRock). • Certifications (e.g., CSPO, CSM, PMP, CISSP, or equivalent) will be considered a plus.   SERVICES The successful Candidate will:   • Product Level Strategy and Roadmap: Own and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of the IAM/RBAC products and features, from conception to launch and beyond. Define and drive the product strategy, roadmap and backlog understanding business and Workforce Identity Governance Program objectives and translating them into product requirements and actionable plans. • Measure success of the IAM/RBAC products, monitor performance, adoption rates, and develop strategies for continuous improvement. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, facilitating effective collaboration across the organization. • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and expertise in areas such as EntraID and Identity & Access Governance products. This includes staying abreast of the latest developments in these areas, advising the team on the adoption of new technologies or practices, and ensuring our products maintain a competitive edge. • Risk Management and Compliance: Identify, assess, and manage potential risks associated with team products and services. Ensure our products and practices adhere to the highest level of industry standards, legal and regulatory requirements, and best practices for security and data privacy. • Partners with Capability Pods and other Product Teams to ensure that processes and tools are aligned and support the Business Technology organization and systems. • Manages vendor performance and contracts including creating Statements of Work (SOW), Managed Security Services (MSS), Requests for Proposal (RFP), and implementing the Vendor Performance Management system (VPM) for large contracts. • Manages budget as needed. • Other tasks as reasonably required by the Client Program Manager.     SCHEDULE The successful Candidate will provide up thirty-seven and a half (37.5) hours per week of services, Monday to Friday between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm Pacific Time, excluding statutory holidays in British Columbia, or as otherwise agreed to by the parties in writing.   TECHNOLOGY REQUIREMENTS: Client will not be providing laptop to the successful candidate. Cleint will provide a login for a Virtual Desktop that the candidate can use on their own laptop. It will work with both Windows and MacOS.
