Key Responsibilities
-
Lead infrastructure discovery and cloud readiness assessments across VM, storage, network, backup, and security layers.
-
Analyze current-state infrastructure architecture, utilization, dependencies, and migration complexity.
-
Define AWS target infrastructure designs and migration approaches for VMware/VM workloads.
-
Identify technical debt remediation requirements, migration risks, and inputs for migration wave sequencing.
-
Assess infrastructure dependencies across compute, storage, networking, backup, and security environments.
-
Evaluate existing infrastructure environments and develop recommendations for AWS cloud migration.
-
Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, security, and application teams to support migration planning.
-
Communicate technical findings, migration recommendations, risks, and dependencies effectively to stakeholders.
-
12–15 years of infrastructure architecture / engineering experience.
-
Strong experience with AWS Infrastructure Services.

Strong experience performing infrastructure discovery and cloud readiness assessments.
-
Experience analyzing VMware/VM environments, storage, networking, backup, and security layers.
-
Experience with current-state architecture assessment and dependency mapping.

Experience defining AWS target infrastructure architecture for VM workloads.

Strong understanding of migration complexity, technical debt, risks, and migration wave sequencing.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
