Job Description
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of hands‑on backend development experience using Core Java (Java 8 or above)
- Strong experience with Spring Framework, specifically:
- Spring Batch and
- Spring Boot
- Proven experience working with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
- Solid understanding of SQL, data modelling, and batch‑oriented data processing
- Experience building and supporting RESTful services
- Strong grasp of object‑oriented design principles, multithreading, and performance optimization
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum delivery models
- Proactively detect, troubleshoot, and remediate issues affecting production applications.
- Provide clear, concise, and timely communication to affected parties during the investigation and resolution of any individual or system-wide outage.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, including team interaction and communication skills including ability to work in cross‑functional teams
- Experience with messaging and streaming platforms:
- Apache Kafka
- RabbitMQ
- Other MQ / event‑driven systems
- Experience with file‑based integration patterns, including:
- SFTP
- Secure file sharing services
- Familiarity with job scheduling tools (e.g., Control‑M or equivalent)
- Understanding cloud-native enterprise applications deployed in PCF, AWS, GCP or Azure.
- Experience with continuous integration and delivery tools - GitHub/Git Actions.
Prior experience in Financial Services, Wealth Management, or Asset Management domains – Preferred
