Key Responsibilities

Assess Angular frontend applications across web-facing SYS IDs currently deployed on Tomcat/OpenShift (OCP).
-
Define migration paths for Angular applications from on-premises OCP to OCP on EC2, with minimal application changes.
-
Create Day-in-the-Life persona journeys covering Operations, Developer, Business Analyst, and Compliance users.
-
Design Amazon QuickSight embedded analytics integrations with existing FICC web portals.
-
Produce current-state and target-state comparison diagrams and visual architecture documentation.
-
Assess UI/UX implications of the migration and ensure user workflow continuity.
-
Define Angular CI/CD patterns using Jenkins/CloudBees pipelines.
-
Design QuickSight dashboard structures to replace Crystal Reports.
-
Document CDS/NFS report distribution processes.
-
Define an S3 migration path for report access.

Provide architecture and technical guidance for frontend migration, analytics integration, and reporting modernization.

8–12 years of relevant software engineering / architecture experience.

5+ years of Angular development experience.
-
Experience deploying frontend applications using OpenShift containers.
-
Hands-on experience with Amazon QuickSight embedded analytics.
-
Experience designing Jenkins/CloudBees CI/CD pipelines.
-
Strong understanding of CI/CD orchestration.
-
Strong software engineering and design architecture experience.
-
Experience with Source Code & Artifact Management.
-
Strong knowledge of Tomcat/Apache environments.
-
Understanding of financial services applications, particularly trading and settlement UIs.
-
Strong experience creating architecture documentation, migration assessments, and current-state/target-state designs.
-
Experience designing Architecture Principles and enterprise architecture standards.
-
Experience with DevOps Strategy Design.
-
Experience migrating Angular applications from on-premises OpenShift to cloud-based OpenShift environments.
-
Experience with AWS EC2 and S3.
-
Experience replacing Crystal Reports with modern analytics dashboards.
-
Experience with embedded analytics integration in financial services portals.
-
Experience designing persona-based user journeys and assessing UI/UX impacts during technology migrations.
