We are seeking a Mainframe Operator to function as a Level 1 Incident Manager for critical incidents and events related to various IT technologies.
Responsibilities
- Create, escalate, triage, and track customer technology-related incidents.
- Monitor infrastructure connectivity, assets, and services using graphical monitoring systems.
- Monitor mainframe control consoles and periodically check system performance.
- Assist with the review and validation of Mainframe Job Control Language (JCL).
- Collaborate with IT staff, customers, and vendors.
- Perform deliveries and other assigned tasks.
- Lift up to 50 pounds as required.
Additional Information
- Onsite position; no work-from-home option.
- Must be available to work holidays, days, afternoons, and/or midnight shifts as required.
- Excellent communication skills are necessary.
Technical Environment(s); Must have an in-depth knowledge and at least 5 years of experience with Microsoft Teams. What’s Up Gold, Pingdom, PRTG, IBM Mainframe
