Job Description
The Director ensures high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall function and staffing of the unit(s)/department(s) in addition to forecasting, planning, and budget monitoring. The Director fosters a culture of accountability and collaboration and supports the development and implementation of strategies, policies, and procedures in support of facility objectives.
Qualifications
Basic Cardiac Life Support
Registered Nurse
Bachelor’s degree or other approved education plan required
Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
Master's Degree preferred
Additional Information
# beds: 22 in ICU, 34 beds in IMC & 25 beds open in Telemetry – oversight of all 3 areas. Dedicated Managers in each of the 3 areas.
FTEs:55 in department w/ 1 Manager
4:1 patient ratio.
Types of patients: ICU
Patient Population served: no peds
Take call: no – intermediate care unit & telemetry floor too
Staff Shifts: standard
Ideal Candidate: BSN
