Job Description


We are seeking an experienced Mobile Application Developer to enhance and expand the functionality of an existing mobile application. The role involves full-stack development, including front-end, back-end, and database components, within an Agile environment.

 

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, and implement mobile app enhancements using React Native for both iOS and Android platforms.
  • Integrate backend services using Java, object-oriented design principles, and RESTful APIs.
  • Perform database development and modifications using Oracle and PostgreSQL.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives).
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and code management processes using GitLab.
  • Conduct unit and integration testing using automated tools.
  • Ensure adherence to secure coding standards and best practices.
  • Provide technical documentation for all deliverables.
  • Collaborate in code reviews and maintain high-quality, modular, and maintainable code.
  • Support user acceptance testing and resolve priority defects within sprint timelines.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Mobile Development: Strong experience with React Native (iOS and Android).
  • Backend Development: Proficiency in Java, object-oriented programming, and API integration.
  • Database: Hands-on experience with Oracle and PostgreSQL.
  • Agile Methodology: Familiarity with Scrum/Kanban, sprint planning, and backlog management.
  • DevOps: Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitLab, and automated testing frameworks.
  • Security: Knowledge of secure coding standards and best practices.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

 

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in converting native apps (Swift/Kotlin) to React Native.
  • Familiarity with state-level security compliance standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver modular, maintainable code and clear documentation.

 

Work Schedule
  • Full-time engagement for 12 months.
  • Hybrid work model: Minimum one day onsite per week (Wednesday preferred).
  • Standard office hours apply.
