Title – Oracle Fusion HCM Functional Lead
Location: Hybrid – Vienna, VA (3 days/week onsite at HQ)
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Oracle Incentive Compensation Technical Functional Lead to join our HR Technology team and play a critical role in the implementation and optimization of the Oracle Fusion Incentive Compensation (OIC) module. This individual will serve as the primary HCM lead, ensuring alignment between Incentive Compensation, Workforce Compensation, Payroll, and broader Oracle Fusion HCM processes.
The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in Oracle Fusion HCM, strong implementation leadership experience, and a proven ability to drive testing, stakeholder alignment, governance, and post-go-live operational readiness within complex enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
Oracle Incentive Compensation Leadership
- Lead the end-to-end implementation and optimization of the Oracle Incentive Compensation module.
- Partner with implementation partners and internal stakeholders to ensure successful solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Provide subject matter expertise on compensation plans, incentive structures, earnings calculations, and related integrations.
Oracle HCM Integration & Process Alignment
- Ensure seamless integration of Incentive Compensation with Oracle Fusion HCM modules, including:
- Workforce Compensation
- Payroll
- Core HR
- Benefits
- Employee Data Management
- Validate shared data elements and ensure data integrity across systems and business processes.
- Support configuration decisions and recommend best practices for scalable HCM operations.
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies across HCM and Incentive Compensation processes.
- Lead System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and defect resolution activities.
- Ensure data validation, reconciliation, and process accuracy throughout implementation.
HR Technology Project Leadership
- Provide leadership across HR Technology initiatives related to Oracle Fusion HCM.
- Manage project deliverables, milestones, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration between HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, and implementation teams.
Governance, Roles & RACI Development
- Lead the refinement and operationalization of Oracle Fusion HCM governance models.
- Develop and maintain post-go-live ownership structures, role definitions, and RACI matrices.
- Identify and close gaps in accountability, role clarity, and operational support processes.
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops to establish consensus on ownership and decision-making frameworks.
Stakeholder Management & Communication
- Serve as a trusted advisor to HR and executive leadership.
- Deliver regular project updates, status reports, risk assessments, and strategic recommendations.
- Build strong partnerships across business and technology teams while driving alignment and accountability.
Documentation & Training
- Create and maintain implementation documentation, process flows, testing artifacts, training materials, and operational procedures.
- Support end-user adoption through knowledge transfer sessions and training initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on Oracle Incentive Compensation experience (required and most critical qualification).
- Strong expertise in Oracle Workforce Compensation and Oracle Payroll.
- Extensive experience implementing Oracle Fusion HCM solutions.
- Demonstrated leadership of Testing, SIT, and UAT activities.
- Proven success leading complex HR Technology projects within Oracle environments.
- Experience defining organizational roles, operational ownership models, and RACI matrices.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Ability to navigate complex organizational environments and drive consensus among multiple stakeholder groups.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting large-scale Oracle Fusion HCM transformations.
- Knowledge of post-go-live support models and HR Technology governance frameworks.
- Experience working in highly regulated or enterprise-scale environments.
- PMP, Oracle Cloud HCM, or related certifications preferred.
