- The Oracle DBA will be responsible for the installation configuration maintenance and performance tuning of Oracle databases
- This role involves ensuring high availability security and optimal performance of database systems across development testing and production environments.
- Install configure and upgrade Oracle databases 11g12c19c on LinuxUnixWindows platforms
- Perform database backup and recovery using RMAN
- Implement and manage Oracle Data Guard for disaster recovery
- Monitor database performance and optimize queries indexes and storage
- Apply patches and security updates to maintain compliance
- Manage user access roles and privileges
- Troubleshoot database issues and provide root cause analysis
- Support migration and upgrade projects onprem to cloud or version upgrades
- Work closely with application teams for schema design and performance tuning

- Scripting Proficiency in Shell scripting for automation
- OS Knowledge LinuxUnix administration basics
- Patching Upgrades Applying PSUCPU patches and version upgrades
- Troubleshooting Strong diagnostic and problemsolving skills
GoodtoHave Skills
- Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure OCI or AWS RDS for Oracle
- Knowledge of PLSQL development
- Familiarity with GoldenGate for replication
- Exposure to ITIL processes and ticketing tools
- Experience Certifications
- Oracle Certified Professional OCP preferred
