Position: PC LAN Technician I
Location: Phoenix, AZ (111 S. 3rd Ave., Suite 103, Phoenix, AZ 85003)
Duration: 4+ Months contract
Job Type: Contract (40 Hours/Week)
Travel: Up to 10% within Maricopa County
Job Summary
We are seeking PC LAN Technicians to support a large-scale Desktop Refresh Program for the Arizona Judicial Branch. The selected candidates will be responsible for deploying and replacing desktop and laptop computers across Judicial Branch facilities throughout Maricopa County.
This is an excellent opportunity for IT professionals with hands-on desktop deployment experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy and configure Windows desktop and laptop computers.
- Perform workstation imaging and system deployments.
- Install and configure monitors, docking stations, printers, and other peripherals.
- Replace and upgrade desktop and laptop hardware.
- Provide onsite technical support during deployment activities.
- Troubleshoot basic hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Track hardware inventory and maintain asset records.
- Update ticketing systems with deployment progress and completed work.
- Follow deployment schedules and documented procedures.
- Deliver excellent customer service while supporting judicial staff and end users.
- Travel to various Judicial Branch locations throughout Maricopa County as needed.
Required Skills
- Experience deploying and configuring Windows desktop and laptop systems.
- Knowledge of workstation imaging and deployment processes.
- Experience installing monitors, docking stations, printers, and peripherals.
- Basic hardware, software, and network troubleshooting skills.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a deployment team.
- Experience documenting work in ticketing systems.
- Ability to lift and move computer equipment.
- Reliable transportation for travel between deployment locations.
- Professional attitude with strong interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting desktop refresh or hardware deployment projects.
- Hands-on experience with:
- SCCM
- Microsoft MDT
- Microsoft Intune
- Windows Autopilot
- Similar imaging/deployment tools
- Active Directory user support.
- Asset management and inventory tracking.
- Enterprise or government IT support experience.
- Experience working in high-volume deployment environments.

- IT Help Desk
- Related Information Technology roles
Preferred Experience
