Position Details

  • Title: PeopleSoft Finance Techno-Functional Consultant

  • Location: Torrance, CA

  • Duration: 6 Months Contract

  • Work Mode: Onsite (3 Days/Week)

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide techno-functional support for PeopleSoft Finance modules, including Purchasing, eProcurement, eSettlement, eSupplier, Supplier Contracts, Accounts Payable (AP), and Purchase Orders (PO).

  • Analyze, design, develop, code, and unit test enhancements within the PeopleSoft Finance ecosystem.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across P2P modules and integrations with peripheral applications.

  • Perform impact analysis, functional testing, system testing, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

  • Manage and resolve integration issues between PeopleSoft Finance modules and external systems.

  • Coordinate with business users, internal IT teams, and stakeholders for demos, POCs, deployments, and production releases.

  • Prepare and maintain techno-functional documentation in alignment with client methodologies and knowledge management standards.

  • Provide functional guidance and technical assistance to offshore teams.
Required Skills

  • 10–12 years of experience as a PeopleSoft Finance Techno-Functional Consultant.

  • Strong expertise in Purchasing, eProcurement, eSettlement, eSupplier, Supplier Contracts, Accounts Payable (AP), and P2P processes.

  • Hands-on experience with PeopleTools Administration, Application Engine, Application Designer, PeopleCode, Integration Broker, Component Interface, Approval Workflow Engine, PS Query, SQR, Reporting Tools, and nVision.

  • Strong understanding of integrations between PeopleSoft P2P modules, AP, and external applications.

  • Experience with production support, enhancement development, testing, and deployment activities.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong documentation capabilities.
Preferred Experience

  • Experience working on PeopleSoft Application and Tools Upgrade projects.

  • Knowledge of PS Supplier Contracts and related procurement processes.

  • Ability to provide overall process guidance and mentorship to project teams.
