Job Title: Power Platform Developer
Location: Hybrid (Remote + Onsite 2 days/week in Saint Paul, MN)
Interview Mode: Microsoft Teams (video)
Position Overview
A full‑time Power Platform Developer is needed to design, build, and implement enterprise-grade applications using the Microsoft Power Platform. The developer will be responsible for architecting a custom application to replace an existing legacy research tracking system, as well as supporting additional Power Platform initiatives as required.
This role requires hands-on experience developing Canvas Apps, Power Automate workflows, SQL integrations, and Power BI reporting, along with the ability to provide knowledge transfer to internal development teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop applications using the Microsoft Power Platform, including:
- Power Apps (Canvas Apps)
- Power Automate
- Power BI
- Report Builder
- Build integrations with:
- SQL Server databases
- Azure Active Directory
- SharePoint
- Microsoft Teams
- Lead architecture design for new Power Platform solutions.
- Modernize and replace an existing research tracking system using Power Platform technologies.
- Provide knowledge transfer, mentoring, and best practices to internal developers.
- Document technical designs, workflows, and integration logic.
- Support additional Power Platform work as assigned.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong proficiency in Power Apps (Canvas Apps) development.
- Hands-on experience creating automated workflows using Power Automate.
- Experience designing and publishing interactive dashboards using Power BI.
- Proficiency with SQL Server, including stored procedures, database design, and integration.
- Experience configuring and integrating with Azure Active Directory.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Teams integration capabilities.
- Ability to design scalable application architectures within the Power Platform ecosystem.
- Experience delivering technical documentation and performing knowledge transfer.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in a hybrid environment.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
- Experience working in structured environments with formal SDLC processes.
- Familiarity with enterprise governance models for Power Platform.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues.
- Background in replacing or modernizing legacy business systems.
