Summary
Provides care to all patient populations for therapeutic purposes. Provides bedside diagnostic procedures as needed. Reviews and maintains respiratory care plans. Performs evaluations on patients and adjusts the care appropriately. Assists as a preceptor for students and new hires.
Education
Must be a graduate of a respiratory therapy program.
Licensure/Certification
Must obtain entry level certification and must have a valid Registered Respiratory Therapist credential from the NBRC. Must have a current Indiana State license for Respiratory Care Practitioners. Must have current certification in CPR. Parkview Randallia (excludes Pulmonary Rehab and PFT areas) must have ACLS and NRP certifications or obtain in 6 months. Community Hospital locations, must have ACLS and NRP certifications or obtain within 6 months from date of hire or transfer; PALS and Stable preferred but not required.

The salary range is xxxx-xxxx (Shift differentials: wknd: xxxx/hr, eve: xxxx/hr, nights: xxxx/hr)
Additional compensation opportunities – bonuses, etc:
This position is eligible for a Relocation Bonus up to xxxx,000.00. The Relocation Bonus will be paid in one lump taxable sum in a separate check 30 days after hire (we can negotiate if needed to help with the candidates with relocation expenses) It is up to you, the co-worker, to determine how this money is spent. It is not necessary to submit receipts to Parkview Health. This bonus does create taxable income and requires a 24-month employment commitment.
This position is eligible for a xxxx5,000.00 sign-on bonus. This bonus will be paid in 2 installments. The first installment will be paid after 60 days of employment on. The second installment will be paid after 12 months of employment. This bonus does create taxable income and requires a 24-month employment commitment.
Parkview also offers the Parkview Excellence Plan for Co-Workers, or PEP-C Bonus. This is an incentive plan that rewards co-workers for their contributions to the organization. Eligible co-workers could receive an incentive payment of up to xxxx,000 twice per year - a potential total of xxxx,000 annually. Results from Service Excellence and Financial goals met year to date through June 30 are used to calculate the PEP-C payment in the first six-month incentive award period. Results from Service Excellence and Financial goals met year to date through December 31 are used to calculate the PEP-C payment for the second six-month incentive award period. The PEP-C program, along with overall compensation and benefits, is an important component of your total rewards package.
