Key Responsibilities
-
Design, develop, and implement enterprise-grade OData V2/V4 RESTful services using the ABAP RAP (RESTful Application Programming) Framework for SAP S/4HANA applications.

Develop and maintain Business Objects (BOs) using Behavior Definitions (BDEF) and Behavior Implementations (BIMP/BP), supporting transactional processing, CRUD operations, actions, validations, and determinations.

Build advanced Core Data Services (CDS) models with UI, search, and analytical annotations to support SAP Fiori Elements applications.

Develop cloud-ready solutions using ABAP Cloud on SAP BTP ABAP Environment (Steampunk), integrate business events and external APIs, and support hybrid SAP/non-SAP workflows while following Clean Core principles.

Strong hands-on experience with SAP HANA ABAP, including CDS, AMDP, and RAP Framework.

Expertise in SAP BTP ABAP Environment (Steampunk), ABAP Cloud, and OData V2/V4 service development.

Experience developing SAP Fiori and SAP Fiori Elements applications with RAP integration.

Strong knowledge of REST APIs, business event handling, SAP S/4HANA extensibility, debugging, performance tuning, and Agile development methodologies.

Experience with Clean Core architecture and SAP BTP side-by-side extension development.

Exposure to SAP Integration Suite, Event Mesh, Cloud-native application development, and hybrid SAP integrations.

SAP BTP, ABAP RAP, or SAP S/4HANA development certifications are preferred.
