Job Description
Role: SAP ABAP (Onsite)
Location: Parsippany, NJ
Mandatory Skills: RICF-SPDD-SPAU-ATC Remediation
Good to Have Skills: AI/Generative AI, GitHub Co-Pilot, Machine Learning Algorithms, Prompt Engineering, SAP IP-Tools, SAP Joule for Developers (J4D)
Must Have:
- Working in Support and Development project.
- ABAP Experience must include ABAP reports, ALV, Module Pool Development, Enhancements (BADI, Customer Exit, Implicit Enhancement), Workflow, ALE/IDOC, BDC’s, BAPI.
- Experience on Upgrade and Implementation will be helpful.
- Experience on Advance ABAP topics like Web dynpro for ABAP, ABAP OOP’s and Webservices would add value.
- Experience in Debugging standard SAP code and investigate complex production problem.
- Extensive experience in REST/SOAP web services, HANA DB SQL optimization, and Support Pack remediation.
- Expertise in developing Dialog Programs using module pool programs and designing screens using Screen Painter and Menu Painter.
- Expertise in developing invoice print forms, modified layout sets using Smart Forms and associated control programs.
- Collaborate with the support team to reduce Incident and Problem volume through root cause analysis and continuous improvement thereby freeing up capacity for enhancements.
- Leverage the Custom Code Lifecycle Management (CCLM) tool to review custom code, ATC Remediation and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with Product Team members to gather and understand requirements as input to solution design, demonstrates understanding of business processes.
- Good communication skills and should be ready to work with the offshore team in IST time zone.
