Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to guide Agile teams, facilitate Scrum practices, remove impediments, and help teams continuously improve their delivery processes. The ideal candidate will have strong Scrum/Agile experience, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to coach teams and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide teams and organizations in Agile/Scrum best practices and methodologies.
- Assess team maturity and coach teams toward continuous improvement.
- Remove impediments and facilitate issue resolution.
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, discussions, decision-making, team building, and conflict resolution.
- Support effective communication and transparency across teams and stakeholders.
- Support Product Owners with product backlog grooming and maintenance.
- Facilitate Agile delivery using Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, XP, or other appropriate methodologies.
- Promote servant leadership and lead by example.
- Help teams improve collaboration, productivity, and delivery outcomes.
- Work with stakeholders and Product Owners to support organizational objectives.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of Scrum Master experience.
- Scrum Master certification required.
- Experience with Change Management.
- Strong communication, facilitation, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Experience working with Agile development teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience identifying and developing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Experience with Agile tracking tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.
- Experience creating and maintaining:
- Product timelines
- Status reports
- Communication plans
- Product management documentation
- Experience working in government, public-sector, or regulated environments.
