Senior SDVI Rally Developer – Job Summary
Location: New York, NY (Remote)

Role Impact & Expectations:
As a Senior SDVI Rally Developer, you will play a critical role in architecting, developing, and optimizing automated media supply chain workflows using SDVI Rally. You will leverage advanced Python and AWS skills to streamline media ingestion, processing, and archival, ensuring maximum efficiency, scalability, and seamless content delivery for a leading media & entertainment client.
Emphasis on Skills:
Expertise in SDVI Rally, advanced Python, and AWS media workflows is essential for this role. Strong experience with REST APIs and workflow automation, as well as containerization technologies, is highly valued.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and optimize SDVI Rally Core workflows for content ingestion, processing, and distribution.
- Automate media ingestion, metadata handling, and workflow execution using Rally REST APIs and Python.
- Implement Rally Jobs for encoding, transcoding, automated QC, and content renditions.
- Design scalable AWS automation leveraging Lambda, S3, SNS, SQS, and Step Functions for robust media pipelines.
- Enhance Rally metadata processing for accurate lifecycle tracking and normalization.
- Manage Rally storage and resource allocation for cost-effective cloud-based archival.
- Monitor Rally reporting and analytics to improve workflow efficiency and error resolution.
- Develop robust error handling, logging, and monitoring to ensure minimal downtime and rapid recovery.
- Enforce best security practices, including IAM-controlled API access and system integrity.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and media operations teams to refine automation strategies.
