Position Details
• Title: Senior AI Architect (SAP Background)
• Location: Bellevue, WA
• Duration: Contract
• Work Mode: Onsite
We welcome candidates with all U.S. work authorization types, provided they are legally authorized to work in the United States.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and deliver AI solutions for SAP landscapes including ECC, S/4HANA, and SAP BTP environments.
• Architect and implement GenAI solutions leveraging Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, GCP AI services, and open-source AI frameworks.
• Build enterprise AI patterns such as RAG, Agent-based Automation, A2A, and MCP while integrating with SAP workflows and business processes.
• Identify and design AI use cases across SAP operations, Finance, Supply Chain, and HR functions.
• Develop reusable accelerators, prompt libraries, agent frameworks, and packaged SAP + AI solutions.
• Conduct client workshops, gather requirements, present solution options, and provide architectural guidance.
• Lead end-to-end AI solution delivery from proof of concept through production deployment.
• Design APIs, integrations, and data flows across SAP systems, AI platforms, and enterprise data environments.
• Support hybrid cloud and on-premise architectures while troubleshooting integration, performance, and data challenges.
Required Skills
• 12–15+ years of overall IT experience with prior SAP project delivery, support, or architecture experience.
• Strong understanding of SAP environments including S/4HANA, ECC, Basis, and integration layers.
• Hands-on expertise with AI/GenAI technologies including LLMs (GPT, Claude, Llama), RAG architectures, and prompt engineering.
• Experience with Agent frameworks, AI workflow automation, A2A, and MCP architectures.
• Expert-level Python development skills.
• Strong API design and enterprise integration architecture experience.
• Hands-on experience with at least one AI ecosystem: Azure AI, AWS AI/ML, GCP AI, LangChain, Hugging Face, or similar.
• Experience designing AI solutions integrated with enterprise SAP workflows and processes.
Preferred Experience
• Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), SAP Joule, SAP AI Core, or SAP AI Launchpad.
• Experience supporting SAP managed services, SAP transformation programs, or AIOps initiatives.
• Cloud AI certifications such as Azure AI Engineer, AWS Machine Learning, or Google Cloud ML certifications.
• SAP certifications (BTP or other SAP certifications) are a plus.
• Experience creating reusable AI assets, accelerators, and enterprise automation frameworks.
