• Detection and Identification: Monitoring network traffic, system logs, and other data sources to identify potential security incidents.
• Containment: Isolating affected systems to prevent the spread of incidents.
• Investigation: Conducting thorough investigations to determine the cause and scope of incidents.
• Resolution and Recovery: Developing and implementing plans to resolve incidents and restore normal operations.
• Collaboration: Working with other teams (IT, legal, public relations) to ensure effective incident response.
• Documentation: Creating detailed reports on security incidents.
• Proactive Measures: Implementing security best practices and training to prevent future incidents.
