Job Description:
  • Experience defining project scope and goals in collaboration with business stakeholders.
  • Experience developing project deliverables including project charters, business cases, briefing notes, status reports, risk logs and project closures.
  • Experience managing multiple projects concurrently.
  • Experience working as a Project Manager on a large complex custom software application development project (where the software is developed in house for that specific organization) in an environment of similar size
  • Experience conducting, facilitating and interpreting impact and risk assessments across multiple scenarios.
  • Experience creating and managing project forecasts in Microsoft Project.
  • Experience developing and maintaining positive relationships across the organization, from front line staff to executives.
  • Experience in project coordination of government and vendor-wide information management / information technology initiatives
  • Experience leading and facilitating meetings with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience leading change management and communication planning.
  • Experience leading custom software application development projects following a formal project life cycle methodology.
  • Experience working in or for the public sector.
  • Experience working on Enterprise Content Management systems within government.
  • Senior leadership experience working in the public sector (ideally Canada) with a sound knowledge of its stakeholders, business functions and informational requirements.
