Job Description
Job Title: Senior Information Security Engineer
Location: Mississauga, ON (Onsite)
Type: Contract

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- CISSP certified (endorsement completed) – Mandatory
- 5+ years of experience across at least 4 CISSP domains
- Experience with PCI-DSS or SOC 2 compliance
- Strong knowledge of security architecture and defense-in-depth
- Experience with vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and remediation
- Hands-on experience with cloud security (Kubernetes preferred)
- Strong understanding of networking, PKI, TLS, and encryption
- Experience with IAM, SSO, RBAC
- Familiarity with CVE, CVSS, ISO 27001, NIST
- Strong experience in Linux/Unix, Python, and Shell scripting
Responsibilities
- Implement and manage security policies, standards, and controls
- Perform security assessments and risk analysis
- Conduct vulnerability scanning and penetration testing
- Secure cloud and infrastructure environments
- Manage identity and access controls (IAM/SSO/RBAC)
- Support compliance and audit activities
- Automate security tasks using Python/Shell scripting
- Work with teams to improve overall security posture
