Tavant Technologies is seeking a skilled Senior Java Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development with experence of working in AWS environment and a passion for creating scalable and efficient applications. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions, with a focus on performance.
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining microservices in the back-end applications.
- Developing and maintaining AWS services like DynamoDB, S3, Lambda, IAM and EKS.
- Ensuring responsiveness of applications.
- Designing and developing APIs.
- Meeting both technical and consumer needs.
- Staying abreast of developments in backend applications and programming languages.
Mandatory Skills
- Proficient in Java, with a good knowledge of advanced features introduced in v11, v17 and v21.
- Familiar with various design and architectural patterns.
- Skill for writing reusable Java libraries.
- Good knowledge of Microservices architecture using Spring Framework & SpringBoot.
- Familiar with Scala programming language.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools - Kubernetes, Jenkins, Github and Spinnaker.
- Experience with No SQL database like DynamoDB and relational database.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Docker, Kafka and Datadog.
- Deploying application to AWS using EKS.
