Job Title: System Engineer

About the Role
We are looking for a Systems Engineer to help build and scale a modern, highly automated IT organization. This is an opportunity to join a growing engineering team responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise IT infrastructure, security, automation, and employee technology. The ideal candidate is passionate about solving complex technical challenges, building scalable systems from the ground up, and leveraging automation and AI to improve IT operations and employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, implement, and manage enterprise IT systems and infrastructure.
• Administer and optimize cloud environments (AWS and/or GCP).
• Evaluate and manage third-party SaaS applications to maximize business value.
• Develop automation and self-service solutions to improve operational efficiency
and reduce manual effort.
• Engineer scalable IT processes that enhance employee experience and strengthen
security.
• Support identity and access management (IAM) initiatives and endpoint
management.
• Manage large fleets of Windows and macOS corporate devices.
• Build monitoring, reporting, and observability solutions for IT operations.
• Identify and mitigate infrastructure and operational risks.
• Collaborate closely with Security, Compliance, Business Systems, IT Support, and
business stakeholders.
• Contribute to AI-driven IT initiatives and automation strategies.
• Participate in enterprise-wide IT projects, migrations, and system implementations.
Required Qualifications
• Proven experience building and supporting modern enterprise IT infrastructure.
• Strong scripting, programming, and automation skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash, or
similar).
• Hands-on experience administering AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS administration.
• Experience with Identity & Access Management (Okta, Azure AD, Google
Workspace, etc.).
• Experience managing enterprise endpoint environments.
• Hands-on experience implementing or migrating enterprise IT platforms.
• Familiarity with AI-powered automation or AI solutions within IT environments.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both
technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to prioritize work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Customer-first mindset with a focus on improving employee experience.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with enterprise security best practices and compliance frameworks.
• Experience with endpoint management platforms such as Jamf, Intune, Kandji, or
Workspace ONE.
• Experience building Infrastructure-as-Code or automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with observability and monitoring platforms.
