Job Description
Title: Spark Scala Developer
Location: Austin, TX/Sunnyvale, CA(Onsite)
Position: C2H
Requirement Skills:
- Experience in Python development
- Extensive experience in working with Spark with API's like Dataframes, SparkSQL using Scala.
- Experience in developing Spark API to import data into HDFS from Teradata and creating Hive tables.
- Developed Spark Code using Scala and Spark-SQL/Streaming for faster testing and processing of data.
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills. Should be highly motivated and ability to learn quick
Years with min 5 year experience & In-depth understanding of data structures and algorithms
- Designing and building dimensional data models to improve accessibility, efficiency, and quality of data
- Database development experience with Relational or MPP/distributed systems such as Oracle/Teradata/Vertica/HANA/Hadoop/
- Programming experience in building high quality applications, data pipelines and analytics solutions.
- Experience in working with frameworks, transpilers, code generators
- Should be proficient in writing Advanced SQLs, Expertise in performance tuning of SQLs.
- Exposure to cloud methodologies and experience with AWS preferre
