Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage advanced Tableau dashboards and reports, ensuring performance and responsiveness.
- Author and troubleshoot reports using Tableau Desktop and manage data sources.
- Create and optimize SQL queries for calculated fields within Tableau.
- Implement interactive filters, parameters, and calculations for enhanced dashboard interactivity.
- Utilize advanced features such as Level of Detail (LOD) expressions, table calculations, and window functions.
- Publish interactive dashboards on Tableau Server with appropriate security measures.
- Integrate data from multiple sources using data blending and relationships.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to align dashboard functionality with requirements.
- Document workflows and dashboard functionality, including version control and change management.
- Conduct performance tuning of dashboards for optimal loading times and user experience.
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in developing business intelligence dashboards using Tableau.
- Proficiency in Tableau v9.x or higher.
- 5+ years of experience in UI/UX, including wireframes, prototypes, and mockups.
- Strong SQL skills for query creation and optimization.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Tableau Server administration.
- Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes.
- Familiarity with other BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Qlik).
